- Verified customers concern – vehicle surges 50 to 100 RPMs. Smoke tested the intake system – no vacuum leaks noted. Spark plugs appear in good condition. Monitored fuel trims – are within spec. Performed PCM reset and idle relearn procedure – surging is much better. Recommend performing a throttle body cleaning and fuel induction service. Ok'd to proceed. After repairs we test drove the vehicle – no surging noted. .
