  • Entering the vehicle no warning lights were displayed. Hoisted the vehicle and checked the transmission fluid – is full and clean. Test drove and monitored transmission data – no issues noted with the transmission but did feel the vehicle "buck" several times. Test drove again while monitoring engine data – have a misfire on cylinder 1. Removed the spark plug for cylinder 1 – is in excellent condition and shows no sign of contamination. We reinstalled the spark plug and swapped the ignition coils between cylinders 1 and 2. Test drove again while monitoring engine data – no misfires detected. Unknown why the vehicle is no longer misfiring, if it resumes in the future we know it's ignition related. The original coil we marked with white paint. .

  • When we entered the vehicle it started and ran, noted the Check Engine Light was on. Scanned for codes and received P00C6 (fuel rail pressure), P025A (fuel pump module A circuit), P06E9 (engine starter performance), U0109 (communication with fuel pump control module), P0702 (transmission control system), U3003 (battery voltage), U0952 (invalid data), U0151 (communication restraint control module), B110A (rear door locking motor), B1C37 (master lock switch circuit shorted to ground), B10C0 (fuel pump power supply shorted to ground), B10E7-12 (injection relay shorted to ground). Vehicle ran properly in the shop for about 15 minutes then died. When tested we had a loss of continuity thru the main wiring harness. We disassembled the passenger side of the vehicle to access the wiring harness and found where there had been water intrusion and damage to the harness with exposed wiring (picture provided to customer). We repaired the individual wires in the harness using heat shrink to seal. Added protection the harness and reassembled. Cleared codes and ran the vehicle – ran in the shop for an hour. Test drove without incident – vehicle ran properly and no codes reset. .
