- Scanned the modules for codes and received P1450 (unable to bleed fuel down). We tested the individual components of the evaporative system and found the vapor management valve underhood bad. Researching the failed part we noted that Ford had issued a recall (18S32) on it. Contacted Ford who states that on June 28, 2019 the recall was performed at Frontier Ford. The upgraded part also needed a software update. Recommend replacing the valve before diagnosis continues. Ok'd to proceed. After repairs the vehicle started properly. We cleared the code and test drove without incident. .
- Installed new vapor management valve. .
- Removed the lower cowling for access and found the washer pump is leaking from where is mounts into the reservoir. .
