- Scanned the modules for codes – received P0740 (torque converter clutch out of range/open) and P0868 ( transmission line pressure low). Inspected the transmission fluid – is full and in good condition. Tested the line pressure – has 119psi, should be 134. Tested volume required for low/reverse – is at 84 (spec is 16-63), gears 2-4 are at 73 (spec is 16-54). Transmission is not building proper pressure properly and the torque converter clutch has shudder. Recommend rebuilding the transmission. .
