- Verified the blower motor is not blowing air. Accessed blower motor and found it does not have power. Tested the resistor – has no power. Went to the underdash fuse panel – fuse is good. Found no power to the fuse. Went to the underhood primary power distribution center and found that the main fuse to provide power to the cabin is good with power in and out. We accessed the output for the underhood fuse box and found nothing is coming out. Underhood fuse box has failed and will have to be replaced before diagnosis continues. Ok'd to proceed. After repairs we ran the vehicle and the blower fan functions properly and is putting out heat. .
- Installed new underhood fuse box. .
- While running the heater there is a hot coolant smell – didn't note any coolant inside the vehicle and the radiator is full. When starting the vehicle after it sat for over 24 hours there was thick white smoke out of the tail pipes. When running the engine makes a ticking noise. .
