We found oil on the top of the engine leaking down. We cleaned the area of debris and drove the vehicle. Reinspecting we found the oil filter housing leaking. Recommend replacing plastic component with upgraded metal unit. Ok'd to proceed. After repairs we test drove again and reinspected – no further leaks noted. .
Installed new oil filter housing assembly, reassembled with new filter, intake gaskets, and oil. .

Scanned the modules for codes – received P0740 (torque converter clutch out of range/open) and P0868 ( transmission line pressure low). Inspected the transmission fluid – is full and in good condition. Tested the line pressure – has 119psi, should be 134. Tested volume required for low/reverse – is at 84 (spec is 16-63), gears 2-4 are at 73 (spec is 16-54). Transmission is not building proper pressure properly and the torque converter clutch has shudder. Recommend rebuilding the transmission. .

Test drove the vehicle – pedal feel firm and does not bleed down. Vehicle stops well with no pull but did feel shudder from the front. Hoisted vehicle and removed the wheels for inspection. Front and rear brake pads are wearing properly, have 8mm pad remaining. Front brake rotors do have excessive runout, we attempted to resurface but we don't have the correct adapter for the lug pattern. Recommend replacing the front brake rotors. Ok'd to proceed.. After repairs we test drove the vehicle again – no shudder experienced. .
